Why a marketplace with this few products exists at all.

Pakistan makes very good furniture. It is sold badly. A workshop that hand-cuts mortise-and-tenon joints photographs the result on a phone against a warehouse wall, writes forty words of description, and then competes on a marketplace where the cheapest particle-board copy outranks it. That gap is the entire reason we exist.
The name
Ārām — آرام — is the word for rest, for ease, for being comfortable in a room. It is what furniture is for, and it is a word every customer we have already owns. We took it because a furniture company should be named after the thing it is trying to give you rather than after a European workshop it has never seen.
What we actually do
We select makers, then take over everything downstream of the workshop door. Their photography goes through an eight-point quality gate and a cleanup pipeline before it reaches you. Their categories are mapped to a taxonomy that makes sense to a buyer rather than a factory. Their copy is rewritten by people who have sat on the sofa. And their prices are set by us, from their cost, using published rules — which is why one maker on this site can never undercut another into a race to the bottom.
What we refuse to do
We do not run fake countdown timers. We do not invent a compare-at price that was never charged. We do not hide the maker, and we do not hide their on-time shipping rate even when it is unflattering. We publish lead times as they are rather than as we would like them to be, because a late sofa costs more trust than a slow one ever did.
The standards every product meets before it goes live
- A hero image that passes the quality gate — resolution, sharpness, background, framing.
- Full dimensions in millimetres, including packed dimensions and seat height.
- Named material composition, and a durability rating where one applies.
- A real lead time from the workshop, not a marketing estimate.
- A retail price computed from landed cost with a published margin floor.
